Western Digital has a device called WD TV HD Media Player. You can connect the drive with a USB cable, then connect the member to your TV.

They have some of the hard disk and television. I understand that devices that do this, but if you can be one of these special devices you buy a graphics card in your computer that has an output to the TV. Most LCD TVs are now available with RGB out, if you said not to buy a graphics card, adding, however, if you want to get the DVDs or video files in HD (ie 1080p) require a graphics card with component video output, HDMI output or DVI output. As the drive directly to your TV, no satellite or cable between the field of magic, which is impossible at this time.

Probably not, unless you have cable or SAT box that lets you connect the drive to connect to. A proposal would be better if the hard drive, connect to your computer, then there is an option for video output on your computer and you will have RCA cables or DVI Pass if you use your TV cable and have seen such is.

If you have a cable or SAT box on the small print on the control panel should not connect a USB port
